Deepest Lake In The World ?
Lake Baikal (Baikal) in Siberia,
Russia is the deepest lake in the
world measuring 1620m deep at
its deepest point. This makes it
not only deep but also the oldest
lake in the world estimated to
be around 25 million years old.
Where Did The Word Robot
Come From ?
This is a question we get asked
a lot so we thought we’d put
people out of their misery.
Firstly the word robot comes
from the Czech word‘robotnik‘
which means forced labour or
even slave. Watching movies
and reading various sci-fi novels
of the past you’ll quickly see
that robots have mostly always
been portrayed as servents of
humanity.
What’s The Fastest Possible
Speed ?
Well imagine going 500,000
times faster than a concorde
and you have a speed nearing
299,792,458 meters per second.
This is the speed of light as it
travels through a vaccum which
it’s so fast that if you were able
to move at this speed you could
go around the earth 7 times in
just 1 second, now that’s fast!
The Difference Between
Insects And Spiders ?
Despite the visual similarities
between the two both are
actually members of distinct
families. Spiders are members of
the Arachnid family whilst
insects belong to the Insect
family. So what makes the two
families different ?
How Heavy Is The Earth ?
Now despite science coming
forward in leaps and bounds the
simple question of how much
the Earth weighs isn’t as
straightforward as you might
think. Certainly placing the earth
onto a massive set ofweighing
scales isn’t an option. So how do
we measure the total weight of
the earth ?
What’s A Google ?
When you hear the word Google
the first image that comes to
mind has to be the famous
internet search engine but does
the word actually mean
anything ? Wellthe answer is a
firm yes because it comes from
the term“Googol” which
represents a number (written as
a 1 followed by 100 zeros).
Which Is The Highest
Waterfall In The World ?
The highest waterfall in the
world is the Angel Falls in
Venezuela. At a towering height
of 979m did you know that
each drop of water takes 14
seconds to fall from the top to
the bottom. The waterfall which
despite being known to the local
indians for thousands of years
was originally called the“Churun
Meru”.
Most Dangerous Animal In
Africa ?
Apart from snakes and insects
the hippopotamus kills more
people in Africa than any other!
It’s a statistic which many find
shocking especially because
they’re not actually meat eaters.
So what makes the hippo so
dangerous ? Well to begin with
they’re large, extremely bad
tempered and surprisingly quick
on both land and water.

* It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

* Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back. Don't expect love in return, just wait for it to grow in their heart, but if it doesn't, be sure it grew in yours.

* There are things you'd love to hear that you would never hear from the person whom you would like to hear from, but don't be so deaf as not to hear it from the one who says it from his heart.

* Never say good-bye if you still want to try, never give up if you still feel you can go on, never say you don't love a person anymore if you can't let go.

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to all the things you want to do.

*Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.

Best Judgments....

251 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's
Apostle said, "Whoever obeys
me, obeys Allah, and whoever
disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and
whoever obeys the ruler I
appoint, obeys me, and whoever
disobeys him, disobeys me."
252 Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "Surely!
Everyone of you is a guardian
and is responsible for his
charges: The Imam (ruler) of the
people is a guardian and is
responsible for his subjects; a
man is the guardian of his
family (household) and is
responsible for his subjects; a
woman is the guardian of her
husband's home and of his
children and is responsible for
them; and the slave of a man is
a guardian of his master's
property and is responsible for
it. Surely, everyone of you is a
guardian and responsible for his
charges."
253 Narrated Muhammad bin Jubair
bin Mut'im: That while he was
included in a delegation of
Quraish staying with Muawiya,
Muawiya heard that 'Abdullah
bin 'Amr had said that there
would be a king from Qahtan
tribe, whereupon he became
very angry. He stood up, and
after glorifying and praising
Allah as He deserved, said, "To
proceed, I have come to know
that some of you men are
narrating things which are
neither in Allah's Book, nor has
been mentioned by Allah's
Apostle . Such people are the
ignorant among you. Beware of
such vain desires that mislead
those who have them. I have
heard Allah's Apostle saying,
'This matter (of the caliphate)
will remain with the Quraish,
and none will rebel against
them, but Allah will throw him
down on his face as long as
they stick to the rules and
regulations of the religion
(Islam).'"
254 Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's
Apostle said, "This matter
(caliphate) will remain with the
Quraish even if only two of
them were still existing."
255 Narrated 'Abdullah: Allah's
Apostle said, "Do not wish to be
like anyone, except in two cases:
(1) A man whom Allah has given
wealth and he spends it
righteously. (2) A man whom
Allah has given wisdom
(knowledge of the Quran and
the Hadith) and he acts
according to it and teaches it to
others."
256 Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's
Apostle said, "You should listen
to and obey, your ruler even if
he was an Ethiopian (black)
slave whose head looks like a
raisin."
257 Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The
Prophet said, "If somebody sees
his Muslim ruler doing
something he disapproves of, he
should be patient, for whoever
becomes separate from the
Muslim group even for a span
and then dies, he will die as
those who died in the Pre-
lslamic period of ignorance (as
rebellious sinners). (See Hadith
No. 176 and 177)
258 Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet
said, "A Muslim has to listen to
and obey (the order of his ruler)
whether he likes it or not, as
long as his orders involve not
one in disobedience (to Allah),
but if an act of disobedience (to
Allah) is imposed one should not
listen to it or obey it. (See Hadith
No. 203, Vol. 4)
259 Narrated 'Ali: The Prophet sent
an army unit (for some
campaign) and appointed a man
from the Ansar as its
commander and ordered them
(the soldiers) to obey him.
(During the campaign) he
became angry with them and
said, "Didn't the Prophet order
you to obey me?" They said,
"Yes." He said, "I order you to
collect wood and make a fire
and then throw yourselves into
it." So they collected wood and
made a fire, but when they
were about to throw
themselves into, it they started
looking at each other, and some
of them said, "We followed the
Prophet to escape from the fire.
How should we enter it now?"
So while they were in that state,
the fire extinguished and their
commander's anger abated. The
event was mentioned to the
Prophet and he said, "If they
had entered it (the fire) they
would never have come out of
it, for obedience is required only
in what is good." (See Hadith No.
629. Vol. 5)
260 Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin
Samura: The Prophet said, "O
'Abdur-Rahman! Do not seek to
be a ruler, for if you are given
authority on your demand then
you will be held responsible for
it, but if you are given it
without asking (for it), then you
will be helped (by Allah) in it. If
you ever take an oath to do
something and later on you find
that something else is better,
then you should expiate your
oath and do what is better."

DRESSING in ISLAM

674 Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, 'Allah will
not look at the person who
drags his garment (behind him)
out of conceit.''
675 Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
The Prophet said Allah will not
look, on the Day of Resurrection
at the person who drags his
garment (behind him) out of
conceit. On that Abu Bakr said,
"O Allah's Apostle! One side of
my Izar hangs low if I do not
take care of it." The Prophet
said, 'You are not one of those
who do that out of conceit."
676 Narrated Abu Bakra: The solar
eclipse occurred while we were
sitting with the Prophet He got
up dragging his garment (on the
ground) hurriedly till he reached
the mosque The people turned
(to the mosque) and he offered
a two-Rak'at prayer whereupon
the eclipse was over and he
traced us and said, "The sun and
the moon are two signs among
the signs of Allah, so if you see a
thing like this (eclipse) then
offer the prayer and invoke
Allah till He remove that state,"
677 Narrated Abu Juhaifa: I saw Bilal
bringing an 'Anza (a small spear)
and fixing it in the ground, and
then he proclaimed the Iqarna
of the prayer, and I saw Allah's
Apostle coming out, wearing a
cloak with its sleeves rolled up.
He then offered a two-Rak'at
prayer while facing the 'Anza,
and I saw the people and
animals passing in front of him
beyond the 'Anza.
678 Narrated Abu Huraira: The
Prophet said, "The part of an
Izar which hangs below the
ankles is in the Fire."
679 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's
Apostle, "Allah will not look, on
the Day of Resurrection, at a
person who drags his Izar
(behind him) out of pride and
arrogance
680 Narrated Abu Huraira: The
Prophet (or 'Abul Qasim) said,
"While a man was walking, clad
in a two-piece garment and
proud of himself with his hair
well-combed, suddenly Allah
made him sink into the earth
and he will go on sinking into it
till the Day of Resurrection.
681 Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "While a
man was dragging his Izar on
the ground (behind him),
suddenly Allah made him sink
into the earth and he will go on
sinking into it till the Day of
Resurrection."
682 Narrated Abu Huraira: that he
heard the Prophet (narrating as
above No. 680).
683 Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever
drags his clothes (on the
ground) out of pride and
arrogance, Allah will not look at
him on the Day of Resurrection."

Drinking in Islam

481 Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's
Apostle said, "Whoever drinks
alcoholic drinks in the world and
does not repent (before dying),
will be deprived of it in the
Hereafter."
482 Narrated Abu Huraira: On the
night Allah's Apostle was taken
on a night journey (Miraj) two
cups, one containing wine and
the other milk, were presented
to him at Jerusalem. He looked at
it and took the cup of milk.
Gabriel said, "Praise be to Allah
Who guided you to Al-Fitra (the
right path); if you had taken
(the cup of) wine, your nation
would have gone astray."
483 Narrated Anas: I heard from
Allah's Apostle a narration which
none other than I will narrate to
you. The Prophet, said, "From
among the portents of the Hour
are the following: General
ignorance (in religious affairs)
will prevail, (religious)
knowledge will decrease, illegal
sexual intercourse will prevail,
alcoholic drinks will be drunk (in
abundance), men will decrease
and women will increase so
much so that for every fifty
women there will be one man to
look after them."
484 Narrated Abu Huraira: The
Prophet said, "An adulterer, at
the time he is committing illegal
sexual intercourse is not a
believer; and a person, at the
time of drinking an alcoholic
drink is not a believer; and a
thief, at the time of stealing, is
not a believer." Ibn Shihab said:
'Abdul Malik bin Abi Bakr bin
'Abdur-Rahman bin Al- Harith
bin Hisham told me that Abu
Bakr used to narrate that
narration to him on the
authority of Abu Huraira. He
used to add that Abu Bakr used
to mention, besides the above
cases, "And he who robs (takes
illegally something by force)
while the people are looking at
him, is not a believer at the time
he is robbing (taking)
485 Narrated Ibn 'Umar: "Alcoholic
drinks were prohibited (by
Allah) when there was nothing
of it (special kind of wine) in
Medina.
486 Narrated Anas: "Alcoholic drinks
were prohibited at the time we
could rarely find wine made
from grapes in Medina, for most
of our liquors were made from
unripe and ripe dates.
487 Narrated Ibn 'Umar: 'Umar
stood up on the pulpit and said,
"Now then, prohibition of
alcoholic drinks have been
revealed, and these drinks are
prepared from five things, i.e..
grapes, dates, honey, wheat or
barley And an alcoholic drink is
that, that disturbs the mind.
488 Narrated Anas bin Malik: I was
serving Abu 'Ubaida, Abu Talha
and Ubai bin Ka'b with a drink
prepared from ripe and unripe
dates. Then somebody came to
them and said, "Alcoholic drinks
have been prohibited." (On
hearing that) Abu Talha said,
"Get up. O Anas, and pour
(throw) it out! So I poured
(threw) it out.
489 Narrated Anas: While I was
waiting on my uncles and
serving them with (wine
prepared from) dates----and I
was the youngest of them----it
was said, "Alcoholic drinks have
been prohibited." So they said
(to me), "Throw it away." So I
threw it away.
490 Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Alcoholic drinks were prohibited.
At that time these drinks used
to be prepared from unripe and

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah:
While I was in the company of
the Prophet in one of his
Ghazawat, he asked, "What is
wrong with your camel? Will
you sell it?" I replied in the
affirmative and sold it to him.
When he reached Medina, I took
the camel to him in the morning
and he paid me its price.
571 Narrated Al-Amash: When we
were with Ibrahim, we talked
about mortgaging in deals of
Salam. Ibrahim narrated from
Aswad that 'Aisha had said, "The
Prophet bought some foodstuff
on credit from a Jew and
mortgaged an iron armor to
him."
572 Narrated Abu Huraira: The
Prophet said, "Whoever takes
the money of the people with
the intention of repaying it,
Allah will repay it on his behalf,
and whoever takes it in order to
spoil it, then Allah will spoil him."
573 Narrated Abu Dhar: Once, while
I was in the company of the
Prophet, he saw the mountain
of Uhud and said, "I would not
like to have this mountain
turned into gold for me unless
nothing of it, not even a single
Dinar remains of it with me for
more than three days (i.e. I will
spend all of it in Allah's Cause),
except that Dinar which I will
keep for repaying debts." Then
he said, "Those who are rich in
this world would have little
reward in the Hereafter except
those who spend their money
here and there (in Allah's Cause),
and they are few in number."
Then he ordered me to stay at
my place and went not far
away. I heard a voice and
intended to go to him but I
remembered his order, "Stay at
your place till I return." On his
return I said, "O Allah's Apostle!
(What was) that noise which I
heard?" He said, "Did you hear
anything?" I said, "Yes." He said,
"Gabriel came and said to me,
'Whoever amongst your
followers dies, worshipping
none along with Allah, will enter
Paradise.' " I said, "Even if he did
such-and-such things (i.e. even
if he stole or committed illegal
sexual intercourse)" He said,
"Yes."
574 Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's
Apostle said, "If I had gold equal
to the mountain of Uhud, it
would not please me that it
should remain with me for more
than three days, except an
amount which I would keep for
repaying debts."
575 Narrated Abu Huraira: A man
demanded his debts from Allah's
Apostle in such a rude manner
that the companions of the
Prophet intended to harm him,
but the Prophet said, "Leave him,
no doubt, for he (the creditor)
has the right to demand it
(harshly). Buy a camel and give
it to him." They said, "The camel
that is available is older than the
camel he demands. "The Prophet
said, "Buy it and give it to him,
for the best among you are
those who repay their debts
handsomely. "
576 Narrated Hudhaifa: I heard the
Prophet saying, "Once a man
died and was asked, 'What did
you use to say (or do) (in your
life time)?' He replied, 'I was a
business-man and used to give
time to the rich to repay his
debt and (used to) deduct part
of the debt of the poor.' So he
was forgiven (his sins.)" Abu
Masud said, "I heard the same
(Hadith) from the Prophet."
577 Narrated Abu Huraira: A man
came to the Prophet and
demanded a camel (the Prophet
owed him). Allah's Apostle told
his companions to give him (a
camel). They said, "We do not
find except an older camel (than
what he demands). (The Prophet
ordered them to give him that
camel). The man said, "You have
paid me in full and may Allah
also pay you in full." Allah's
Apostle said, "Give him, for the
best amongst the people is he
who repays his debts in the
most handsome manner."
578 Narrated Abu Huraira: The
Prophet owed a camel of a
certain age to a man who came
to demand it back. The Prophet
ordered his companions to give
him. They looked for a camel of
the same age but found nothing
but a camel one year older. The
Prophet told them to give it to
him. The man said, "You have
paid me in full, and may Allah
pay you in full." The Prophet
said, "The best amongst you is
he who pays his debts in the
most handsome manner."
579 Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: I
went to the Prophet while he
was in the Mosque. (Mis'ar
thinks, that Jabir went in the
forenoon.) After the Prophet
told me to pray two Rakat, he
repayed me the debt he owed
me and gave me an extra
amount.

Astronomers may have solved a
cosmic chicken-and-egg problem
-- the question of which formed
first in the early Universe --
galaxies or the supermassive
black holes seen at their cores.
"It looks like the black holes
came first. The evidence is piling
up," said Chris Carilli, of the
National Radio Astronomy
Observatory (NRAO). Carilli
outlined the conclusions from
recent research done by an
international team studying
conditions in the first billion
years of the Universe's history
in a lecture presented to the
American Astronomical Society's
meeting in Long Beach,
California.
Earlier studies of galaxies and
their central black holes in the
nearby Universe revealed an
intriguing linkage between the
masses of the black holes and of
the central "bulges" of stars and
gas in the galaxies. The ratio of
the black hole and the bulge
mass is nearly the same for a
wide range of galactic sizes and
ages. For central black holes
from a few million to many
billions of times the mass of our
Sun, the black hole's mass is
about one one-thousandth of
the mass of the surrounding
galactic bulge.
"This constant ratio indicates
that the black hole and the bulge
affect each others' growth in
some sort of interactive
relationship," said Dominik
Riechers, of Caltech. "The big
question has been whether one
grows before the other or if
they grow together,
maintaining their mass ratio
throughout the entire process."
In the past few years, scientists
have used the National Science
Foundation's Very Large Array
radio telescope and the Plateau
de Bure Interferometer in France
to peer far back in the 13.7
billion-year history of the
Universe, to the dawn of the
first galaxies.
"We finally have been able to
measure black-hole and bulge
masses in several galaxies seen
as they were in the first billion
years after the Big Bang, and
the evidence suggests that the
constant ratio seen nearby may
not hold in the early Universe.
The black holes in these young
galaxies are much more massive
compared to the bulges than
those seen in the nearby
Universe," said Fabian Walter of
the Max-Planck Institute for
Astronomy (MPIfA) in Germany.
"The implication is that the black
holes started growing first."
The next challenge is to figure
out how the black hole and the
bulge affect each others'
growth. "We don't know what
mechanism is at work here, and
why, at some point in the
process, the 'standard' ratio
between the masses is
established," Riechers said.
New telescopes now under
construction will be key tools
for unraveling this mystery,
Carilli explained. "The Expanded
Very Large Array (EVLA) and the
Atacama Large Millimeter/
submillimeter Array (ALMA) will
give us dramatic improvements
in sensitivity and the resolving
power to image the gas in these
galaxies on the small scales
required to make detailed
studies of their dynamics," he
said.
"To understand how the
Universe got to be the way it is
today, we must understand
how the first stars and galaxies
were formed when the Universe
was young. With the new
observatories we'll have in the
next few years, we'll have the
opportunity to learn important
details from the era when the
Universe was only a toddler
compared to today's adult,"
Carilli said.

Bonn University; Karl Menten of
MPIfR; and Pierre Cox and
Roberto Neri of the Insitute for
Millimeter Radio Astronomy
(IRAM) in France.

the quran contains the following verse, regarding the origin of the universe..

the striking congruence b/w the quranic verse n the big bang is inescapable ! Hw could a book, whc 1st apprd in the deserts of arabia 1400yrs ago, contain ths profound scientific truth..??

ASSLAMOALAIKUM

Nowdays we often hearing about SPACE-PROGRAMS in diffrent diffrent countries.try to understnd every minutes secrets of the univers.Recently many countrie's scientist related to space programs had claimed that they have many clew related to presence of water in Moon/MARS......so They spent alot of money to clearify the aspect for water is presence or not in these planets.....but my frnds u should knw....in the our planet water is also presence 73% of the total land area....but only 1%or less than it prsnce in the form of drinkable water....just i want to say that all the scientist of the world should to try & spent money to convert the salty water(73%) into freshwater..........thanks
